Under the CEDR Solvedirect service, a standard mediation fee is set by the individual mediator. This will be communicated to the parties at the time of enquiry either by the mediator directly or by CEDR Solve.
Fees may be given as a default day rate or an hourly rate at which all mediation related work, including preparation will be completed.
In most cases, standard fees are applicable for a one-day mediation on a two-party dispute and the mediator reserves the right to increase the fee, for instance where the dispute involves multiple parties, complex litigation or for short notice mediation.
Fees must be agreed with all clients before the mediation date can be finalised.
