CEDR Solve express - Mediation fees

This service applies a 15 per cent discount on the standard CEDR Solve select fees where the parties request CEDR Solve to appoint a mediator based on the parties' mutual availability, agreed mediation location and general mediator profile.

The standard fees against which the above 15 per cent discount applies are calculated as follows:

  • Instruction fee £250 per party; plus
  • Mediation fee based on an hourly rate of between £200 and £500, split between the parties.
When calculating the fee, CEDR Solve takes into account:
  • number of parties involved
  • amount in dispute between parties
  • required mediator preparation time (usually 2.5 hours per party)
  • seniority of mediator
  • any other relevant matters, such as timeframe for set-up and complexity of the matter.
The mediation fee is normally quoted on the basis of a 10-hour mediation day (or 8 hours for smaller cases). VAT and expenses are additional.

The express service is offered at a 15% discount to our mainstream commercial cases. This discount does not apply to any additional hours. VAT and Expenses are also additional.
