Fee structure

CEDR Solve provides a portfolio of mediation services, offering our clients flexibility and choice to meet their particular needs and the circumstances of the case. The mediation fee differs according to the level of service selected.

Our mediators often agree to work for less than their professional rates in recognition of CEDR’s pioneering role in the development of effective dispute resolution and our support for a quality process.

Under CEDR Solve select and CEDR Solve express, mediators receive a percentage of the hourly mediation rate according to experience, as follows:

• Junior mediators – 40% of total mediation fee
• Experienced mediators – 50% of total mediation fee
• At the discretion of CEDR Solve, senior mediators who have been involved with CEDR for a continuous period of 10 years or more, receive up to 67% of the total mediation fee

Mediators operating under the CEDR Solve direct service receive the full fee, minus a nominal administration/clerking fee.
