The mediation fee is normally quoted on the basis of a 10-hour mediation day (or 8 hours for smaller cases). VAT and expenses are additional.
Examples:
A two-party dispute between a retailer and manufacturer over unpaid invoices amounting to £45,000 was recently settled by a CEDR Solve mediator in a single day for a total fee of £2,120, split equally between the parties.
A two-party dispute between a local authority and a builder over a £270,000 construction contract was settled by a CEDR Solve mediator in a single day for a total fee of £4,425, split equally between the parties.
A two-party £2.2 million dispute between a main contractor and subcontractor about the construction of a power plant was settled by a CEDR Solve mediator in a single day for a total fee of £6,800, split equally between the parties.
