Housing Ombudsman Service

The Housing Ombudsman Service deals with disputes between landlords and tenants in England and was approved under the Housing Act 1996. The Ombudsman saw the potential for mediation in many of the cases and a scheme, funded by the Ombudsman and subsidised by CEDR, has been set up..

A dedicated CEDR Solve Client Adviser manages the service on a day-to-day basis.
