To assist us in working towards our mission, CEDR offers two internship programmes throughout the year.
Working alongside about thirty-five full time staff, our interns form an integral part of the CEDR network, and will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of CEDR's activities.
Internships will usually last for two or three months, although we will also consider applications for six-month or one-year placements for students who need to complete an industrial placement as part of their university degree. Most internships are full-time, but hours can be flexible and we also offer part-time internships.
Generally, internships are unpaid and voluntary. We are, however, able to offer a modest allowance in terms of travel cost and lunchtime subsistence.
All programmes provide an opportunity to be involved in international cutting edge work and make contact with key players in the field.
In addition, we welcome approaches from law schools and other academic institutions involved in encouraging the next generation of mediators through exchange programmes. We already work with Harvard Law School, Pepperdine University School of Law and the University of Westminster.
