Isabel Phillips is an experienced trainer, mediator and coach. She works closely with clients from across the public, private and NGO sectors to design, develop and deliver a range of conflict management solutions including needs analysis, systems design, training and coaching. She is also a member of the Mediator Skills Faculty.
Mediating regularly her experience covers a range of areas including construction, professional negligence, tenancy and workplace mediation, particularly within third sector organisations. Isabel joined CEDR in 2003 with a background in intervention in international conflict and mediation. She worked in Bosnia for "Forum ZFD" (a German NGO) as project manager for their civilian conflict resolution project in Bosnia-Herzegovina from 2000 - 2002. This involved facilitation, mediation and training work with local non-governmental organisations.
She is a fluent German speaker and holds the German vocational qualification in civilian conflict resolution as well as a BA(Hons) First class in History and an MA with distinction in International Relations.
