"Accessible justice"
CEDR is one of the world’s leading providers of specialist consultancy and training expertise on the role of alternative dispute resolution within civil justice systems.
Our expertise is derived from our extensive experience in the UK - where we have been instrumental in bringing mediation into the mainstream of the civil justice system, together with numerous international assignments.
We work with governments on the development of dispute resolution mechanisms which provide efficient and cost-effective access to justice, serving both as a tool for economic development and as an agent for wider social change.
Funding for our work usually comes from aid agencies and international development funding institutions although we are also happy to work directly with beneficiary nations.
"I would like to formally thank you for the enormous contribution which you have made to South African mediation and the initiation of commercial mediation in particular.
We particularly valued the meticulous and personalised coaching, the assessment and the competency based training methodology."
