CEDR

"If you care about mediation you should be concerned about regulation." Its existence has the potential to determine how mediators can behave, what is permitted to happen in the process and what services we can offer.

You have two weeks to book your place at the foremost mediation event in Europe discussing this and other issues, including international frameworks for mediation and the client view on refining the market in light of a maturing profession.

Together with a keynote address by Greg Dyke and skills workshops by Carrie Menkel-Meadow of Georgetown University Law Centre, USA and Jamil Mahuad, former President of Ecuador and Co-founder and Senior Adviser of the International Negotiation Initiative, Harvard Law School, the Third European Mediation Congress on 8 November 2007 is not to be missed.

Mediation Audit 2007
Growth in the relatively new field of mediation and where it is heading is something that CEDR monitors for the benefit of mediators and the legal and business communities.

Two years ago in November 2005 we published audit results which showed the field had grown by 35 per cent and next month at our biennial European Mediation Congress we will reveal how that has changed and what trends are emerging.

Yet we can only do this if you help us by completing our online survey. Please visit Mediation Audit 2007 to take part.
