The profitable execution of wind farm projects often brings together several participants who need to work together in order to make the project successful.
Anke Baars argues that one of the deciding factors for success is multi-contract management. All participants, whether they are the project manager, investor, manufacturer or provider, are faced with challenges and ever-moving deadlines – it is not just the right political conditions that need to be in place but environmental factors have to be taken into consideration, and these all impact on technology and budget. A lot of money is usually at stake and every participant is working with his or her best interests in mind.
