CEDR Solve Team

The CEDR Group Dispute Service, incorporating CEDR Solve and IDRS Ltd, is Europe's leading commercial mediation and consumer, independent complaints review and ombudsman service.  

The commercial unit is led by our Practice Manager, John Munton, who has many years of experience in mediation, adjudication and international arbitration. John and the commercial team are able to provide support and guidance to clients on mediator and neutral suitability and the logistics of setting up a wide range of dispute resolution processes. With up-to-date knowledge of all our mediators and neutrals, John and his team ensure parties select the most appropriate expert to meet their dispute requirements, assisting where required with the logistics of setting up a mediation or other ADR process.

Our commercial unit also offer a case mangement service - a unique added benefit of using CEDR Solve as your mediation service provider, which includes access to a dedicated Dispute Resolution Adviser throughout the life of the mediation. Read more about our case management service here.

The consumer, independent complaints review and ombudsman unit is led by our Schemes & Business Development Manager, Gina Shim. Gina and her team deal with thousands of cases each year across a range of areas, including tenancy deposit protection, travel and independent complaints handling for complaints against the likes of Ofsted, The Charity Commission and The Tenant Services Authority. The unit also manages ombudsmen services for NYSE LIFFE and others, and has recently expanded significantly with the purchase of the leading consumer ADR provider, IDRS Ltd, in November 2011.

Gregory is responsible for directing CEDR's dispute resolution service group incorporating CEDR Solve and IDRS Ltd - Europe's leading commercial mediation and consumer dispute resolution services.  He is also responsible for CEDR's relationships with its various clients - from law firms to national and international businesses and governments. He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator and has mediated more than 30 times, as well as adjudicating a number of cases relating to Ofsted inspections. He has worked in ADR for 16 years and designed, launched and developed more than 120 ADR services resulting in more than 35,000 claims in a wide range of sectors.  Gregory is also CEDR's lead director in Ireland responsible for runnning the Irish office (see www.cedrsolve.ie).

Gina is the CEDR Group's Schemes and Business Development Manager within the Dispute Services team, incorporating CEDR Solve and IDRS Ltd. She is responsible for the management; business and scheme development activity across all consumer, independent complaints review and ombudsman schemes.  As Senior Adjudicator, Gina is also responsible for the on-going management of the panel of neutrals engaged by the CEDR Group’s Dispute Services team.

Andreia is an in-house Adjudicator for the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. She issues fair and well-reasoned decisions based on the relevant law, scheme rules, and evidence submitted by the parties.  Andreia also administers the ABTA Arbitration Scheme ensuring that all cases are dealt with in an efficient and consistent manner.
