Fiona Colquhoun has been a CEDR Solve Panel Mediator since 2004 and has an excellent reputation for a wide range of commercial and employment mediations, facilitations, independent reviews, investigations, and other neutral interventions. Clients have praised her versatility and unique mixture of business, corporate, ADR and coaching credentials describing her as their ‘first choice’, ‘very impressive’ and ‘an exemplary mediator’.

 

Fiona has a strong business background having worked at plc board level and, as a Director of CEDR, is one of its most experienced lead mediators. She has mediated some very challenging and protracted cases with great pragmatism; using her business background, practitioner and coaching skills to give clients additional value and results from the process.  Fiona’s clients are from many different sectors including global and top FTSE companies, the public sector including central government and the NHS, professional partnerships and many others. While working in industry Fiona gained invaluable expertise in general business projects, mergers & acquisitions, disposals, partnerships, complex employment, change management and pension issues.  Amongst her senior executive appointments, Fiona was a group Director of Cable and Wireless plc; then a FTSE top 20 global telecommunications company, with over 50 businesses and 60,000 employees worldwide. This was followed by a Board level appointment to International Computers Ltd (ICL PLC). Previously Fiona held senior positions in the public sector, as a Director and Non-Executive Director within the National Health Service (NHS).

 

Fiona is also a Henley Business School coach, an ACAS arbitrator, a Harvard Business School alumna, a CEDR Employment Lead Faculty.
