Richard Butler has conducted over 100 commercial mediations of disputes concerning professional negligence, secured lending, real estate transactions and landlord and tenant. Invited to address the European Parliament during the passage of the European ADR Directive, he is a former member of the Law Society’s ADR Committee and has lectured extensively on the subject. He is a Visiting Professor of Dispute Resolution at Nottingham Law School.
A qualified solicitor Richard is the former Head of Corporate and Banking Litigation at Norton Rose LLP where he specialised in property disputes.
