Baking for Children In Need

For the last 2 Friday’s CEDR have been raising money for BBC’s Children In Need. Tapping into CEDR staff’s well known love of cake, we decided to hold the very first Great CEDR Bake Off competition. Inspired by the BBC TV show, over 20 of us took part in order to raise money and win the baking challenge.

News spreads fast in this town, and it wasn’t long before the BBC contacted us to see if they could come to our offices and film the Bake Off in action. Although they missed Round 1 (won by Hannah’s fabulous Chocolate Beetroot Cake), the cameras arrived in time for Round 2, to capture the baking, the judging and general cake-scoffing in our newly festooned Seminar Room – modelled on the GBBO marquee of course (Mary Berry would have been proud)!
