About CEDR Chambers Mediators

 

Membership in CEDR Chambers is by invitation only and based on reputation and experience and appointed to our Panels in accordance with our Mediator Quality Commitment. The Mediators, many of whom are ranked in leading directories, are principally full-time mediators with extensive commercial and civil mediation practices.

CEDR Chambers Key Characteristics

  • Excellent reputations: Through the feedback, we have collected on these mediators over the years, we know clients are impressed by their effectiveness.
  • Breadth of experience: Not only from their profession and mediation experience but because Chambers mediators work more broadly as dispute resolution trainers, consultants and thought leaders. They bring this experience to the mediation table for the parties’ benefit.
  • Commitment to continued development: Clients’ expectations of mediators are always developing. Chambers mediators are committed to continually evolving their practice. They work together with CEDR to spot emerging trends and develop new skills and techniques.

CEDR Chambers mediators’ fees are charged at hourly rates, which will vary between £200 and £500 per hour. This fee is normally divided between the parties unless otherwise agreed.

For most cases, CEDR requires payment on account for five hours’ preparation time and eight hours for the mediation day.
