Challenge of Collaboration
Gathering opinions on collaboration
As part of the CEDR Foundation’s Capability in Collaboration project, we have started asking a series of business experts, academics and entrepreneurs for their views on the benefits and challenges that collaboration brings.
We asked them about collaborations that they have been involved in; what the importance of aspects such as trust are for a successful collaboration; and what advice they would give to avoid collaborations going wrong.
Our interviewees are:
|Sir Peter Middleton, former Chair of Barclays, Camelot and CEDR and former Permanent Secretary to the Treasury||Professor Nigel Nicholson, Professor of Organisational Behaviour, London Business School|
|Vanessa Robinson, Head of HR Practice Development, The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD)||Tom Barton, Head of Communications, Capgemini UK|
|Geoff Lloyd, Executive Director, Tax Policy and Controversy, at Ernst & Young and former Director of Dispute Resolution at HMRC||Polly Gowers OBE, CEO of Everyclick, operator of Give As You Live|
|James Uffindell, CEO and Founder of Bounty Network||Professor Victor Newman, Industrial Fellow at the University of Greenwich Business School|
