CEDR Exchange Forum: understanding the future of mediation
As 2018 draws to a close join us to discuss how civil, commercial and workplace mediation is likely to develop in the coming years.
- Will the days of the 'one-day mediation' be a thing of the past? How is the process evolving?
- What is the mediator increasingly being asked to do other than mediate - chair, evaluate, stay involved afterwards? And should a mediator be doing these things?
- Will new and developing paths to dispute resolution make mediation inevitable (or quasi mandatory) in some cases and impossible in others?
Add your thoughts to the discussion about how the mediation world is likely to change and how we should prepare for (or resist) these changes.
This event carried 2 hours of continuing professional development (CPD).
CPD from CEDR is typically recognised by professional organisations such as the Civil Mediation Council, Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bar Standards Board, Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. To find out if your profession is covered please ask.
