Webinar 'Establish yourself as a Mediator'
This webinar will look at how to find your first mediation, not an easy task - as anyone that has tried will know. Getting your start as a mediator is a challenge in itself so we will attempt to answer the questions - How do you find mediations and what do you need to have in place?
Working as a mediator is not an exact science and there are just as many different routes as there are ultimate goals for mediators - ranging from those that want to practice alongside another career (such as a lawyer or management coach) to those that would like to practice on a more fulltime-basis.
The topics specifically addressed include:
- Where do mediations come from?
- How do I find my first mediation?
- Why is a mediator appointed to a case?
- Practical steps to getting a case?
This is an interactive session looking at different models of succeeding in a difficult marketplace. It is led by Andy Rogers, CEDR’s Director of Communications, who has over 10 years' experience of helping mediators to market themselves.
This webinar is based on the CEDR course “Establish yourself as a Mediator” which runs in London every year (and Dublin every other year) as part of CEDR’s Mediator Professional Development programme. The next session will run in London on 21 February 2017: https://www.cedr.com/skills/flyer/index.php?id=423
