Maria joined CEDR as a Course Manager in January 2017. She is a qualified Greek lawyer and has been working in London in the Disputes Resolution field since early 2015. As a Course Manager, Maria is responsible for the project management, coordination and administration of a selection of CEDR’s training courses including the internationally recognised Mediator Skills Training, Certificate in Advanced Negotiation and a range of Conflict Management courses targeted towards individuals, teams and organisations.
In 2015 she became an Accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator and was trained as an Assistant Mediation Trainer. She has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution developments and in the expansion ADR both within the UK and internationally.
Maria received her Law Degree in Greece in 2011 and continued her education in London where she gained an LLM in International Human Rights Law in 2012 (Dissertation awarded with Distinction). Before starting work in London she spent 2 years practising as a corporate, commercial and intellectual property lawyer in Athens, Greece.
She is a member of the Athens Bar Association, a member of the Young Mediators Group and has volunteered in the past for the International Mediation Competition in Paris organised by the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC).
Maria is native in Greek, fluent in English and has working knowledge of German.
