Are you a mediator who wants to develop its confidence to resolve workplace conflict? Have you ever felt the complexity of workplace conflicts prevented you from offering your services?
As mediators, we often feel confined to our area of expertise: Commercial, community, healthcare, employment, etc.
Yet the skills and processes we use are similar, and the difference lies in the way we approach the mediation day.
CEDR believes that our society needs more confident workplace mediators to bring their skills to organisations. We have therefore designed a one-day certification to introduce and train you to the specificities of workplace conflicts, and how mediators can manage and address them in a constructive and confident manner.
Courses held in the English Language:
Our training programme is highly interactive and practitioner-oriented. Participants role-play and partake in exercises with others. Participants will therefore need a good command of business English (a minimum of B2 as outlined by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages).
Why develop workplace mediation skills?
Workplace conflict can ravage a well-established company, distracting and distressing otherwise strong and efficient management teams responsible for dealing with the consequences. Using mediation to address these situations can therefore have a huge impact not only to employee relations and wellbeing but ultimately to an organisation’s bottom line.
Being armed with the right approach to tackle these high-emotions and often multi-party cases can give mediators an edge and the right methodology to support organisations in their times of trouble.

To attend this course, you must have been previously trained as a mediator, or have practised as one.
