Susanne Schuler

Susanne is Global Director of Development at CEDR and a member of its leadership team, combining strategic insight, leadership, and hands-on delivery across CEDR’s facilitation and consultancy services. An experienced business and intercultural facilitator, conflict mediator, and coach, Susanne brings over 25 years of practitioner expertise. Her legal background, business experience, and work in diversity and inclusion inform her mediation and consultancy practice, including business and human rights disputes. Fluent in five languages and having worked in more than 30 countries, Susanne has trained and coached over 4,000 delegates from governments, universities, multinational corporations—including SAP, Unilever, Roche, Novartis, Coca Cola, and IKEA—and institutions such as the UN, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Stability Mechanism, and The Global Fund. In the UK, her clients include major organisations such as the BBC and Lloyds Bank. Her programmes cover negotiation, conflict management, stakeholder engagement, mediation, and leadership in diverse environments. Born in Namibia, Susanne has lived, studied, and worked across Europe and Africa, combining international experience with cultural sensitivity and a practical, human-centred approach. She is passionate about transforming conflict into opportunity, building trust, and achieving sustainable, positive outcomes.
