About Work
Andrew trained as a mediator with CEDR back in 2003 and has since trained as a workplace mediator and has conducted many mediations of all shapes and sizes; but often within his specialist sectors which are public sector related. He therefore has significant experience of high value, complex and multi-party disputes. He has a relaxed but astute approach to managing the mediation process and is able to develop a good rapport with the parties, whilst ensuring that key issues are addressed.

He is a construction and public procurement law specialist and has extensive experience in relation to a wide range of public sector disputes. He has been involved in leading cases involving the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and various construction issues and he is up to date regarding recent changes in the law in these areas. He has a good knowledge of all major construction contracts and forms of appointment including JCT, NEC, and PPC 2000.
More recently he has been involved in mediating substantial PFI disputes for local authorities and contractors or consultants, including in the waste management sector. He has comprehensive experience in resolving workplace disputes and general commercial disputes. Andrew also trains clients and solicitors in mediation skills.
