Ewelina Stobiecka
Mediator
Short Introduction
I am passionate about helping businesses resolve disputes efficiently and constructively, with strong commitment to business mediation. I guide parties through mediation processes, aiming to preserve relationships and reduce the cost and risk of conflict. Drawing on experience in both litigation and ADR in Poland, I support entrepreneurs in developing strategies that turn disputes into opportunities. My goal is to ensure that each mediation leads to practical, forward-looking outcomes that strengthen business resilience.
About Work
I have extensive experience in conducting mediations and supporting the resolution of a wide spectrum of business disputes, including both conflicts between entrepreneurs and internal organisational disputes involving management boards, teams or cross-departmental cooperation. My mediation practice spans matters arising in the retail sector, the real estate industry and companies engaged in international trade, where commercial complexity, operational pressures and cultural diversity often influence the dynamics of the conflict.
I am the initiator and coordinator of the International Mediation Centre in Poland, a platform created to help navigate cross-border business disputes involving parties from multiple jurisdictions. Within this work, I place particular emphasis on cultural differences, which often play a decisive role in how disputes emerge, escalate and ultimately are resolved. Understanding these nuances allows me to support parties in overcoming communication barriers and reaching outcomes that respect their business goals and cultural backgrounds.
In my mediation style, I combine a structured and analytical approach with empathy, active listening and clear communication. I strive to create a safe, constructive environment in which parties can openly explore their interests, reassess assumptions and work towards practical, sustainable solutions. I am particularly effective in co-mediation, where collaboration between mediators brings additional balance, insight and diversity of perspectives, ultimately enhancing the quality and efficiency of the mediation process.
