Mandy Lenton
Mediator
Short Introduction
Mandy helps people and organisations move through complexity, unlock deadlock, and find solutions that allow them to move forward with confidence. She built her early career as a litigation solicitor, culminating in leading the Real Estate Litigation team at Clifford Chance. She then dedicated herself full time to helping people have difficult conversations well, work that brings energy, purpose, and a very human impact. She creates space for clarity and resolution in even the most difficult situations.

About Work
Mandy is a highly experienced commercial mediator with over 15 years of full time practice in high value and often emotionally charged disputes. Her work spans a wide range of commercial conflicts, with particular depth in real estate, professional negligence, and contractual matters. She is regularly instructed in multi party mediations where commercial pressure, reputational risk, or strained relationships require careful handling.
Clients describe Mandy as calm, clear, and attuned, able to hold complexity without escalating conflict. She is known for bringing energy, authority, and presence, while creating an environment where participants can think clearly under pressure. She is recognised for helping people have difficult conversations well, whether the context is commercial or personal. Her style adapts to context, from reframing perspectives or acknowledging loss to guiding high stakes decisions with clarity and pace.
She is equally at home facilitating pragmatic boardroom settlements as she is supporting small businesses or families in crisis. Her casework includes disputes involving FTSE 100 companies, government bodies, developers, professional firms, family businesses, and private individuals.
Alongside practice, Mandy is a Lead Faculty at CEDR, a Fellow of the Civil Mediation Council, and a Barefoot trained ICF accredited coach. She supports the Civil Mediation Council, most recently facilitating its Mediator Launch Pad for new mediators, was a judge at the 2024 National Mediation Awards, and regularly designs and delivers sector defining training and events. Outside work, she enjoys time with friends and family, paddle boarding, and cheering from the sidelines of a muddy football field.
