Arabella Tresilian

Arabella Tresilian

Workplace Conversion Course, Conflict Management Trainer

Short Introduction

Arabella is passionate about creating safe, engaging spaces where people can learn practical skills to manage conflict and communicate with confidence. She thrives on supporting professionals to build resilience and connection, particularly in high-emotion or high-stakes contexts. What she values most in her training work is seeing participants leave not only with new tools, but also with greater self-belief in their ability to handle challenging conversations.

About Work

Arabella brings over two decades of experience as a trainer, facilitator and educator, with a background spanning education, health, social care and governance. Since becoming a CEDR accredited mediator in 2017, she has specialised in designing and delivering training that combines professional rigour with a compassionate, inclusive approach. She regularly facilitates workplace mediation training, conflict resolution skills programmes, and bespoke courses for public sector professionals, corporates and community organisations. Her training style is interactive, creative and trauma-informed, drawing on lived experience of leading in complex systems and a deep commitment to neurodiversity-aware and mental-health inclusive practice. Over the years, she has trained thousands of individuals across the UK and internationally, ranging from senior leaders and HR teams to clinicians, educators and frontline staff. Arabella particularly enjoys helping participants translate theory into practice, using roleplay, real-life scenarios and reflective exercises to build both confidence and competence. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she led large-scale community training programmes that reached over 3,000 people across 140 sessions, which was recognised with a Bath Life Award for People Services. Alongside her training work, Arabella’s 2025 Churchill Fellowship research has deepened her perspective on communication and conflict resolution in sensitive settings, with fieldwork in India, Peru and South Africa. Whether teaching new mediators, equipping professionals with core conflict skills, or supporting teams under pressure, she makes learning both practical and empowering.
