About Work

As an experienced senior project manager, mediator, facilitator, trainer and coach with over 30 years’ experience, I have worked with clients within healthcare, clinical research including Pharma and Biotech companies, education, start-ups and third sector enterprises. I work closely with senior leadership teams across organisations to deliver training and coaching to individuals and multi-disciplinary teams, supporting effective communication in the workplace and enhancing stakeholder engagement, particularly following significant organisational change. Major clients include NHS Trusts across London and the Thames Valley, Biotech companies, online communities such as Doctors.Net.UK, the University of Oxford, the Health Protection Agency, the British Red Cross and the Department of Health. Training delivery has been varied across this portfolio, and I have particularly enjoyed facilitating blended learning through workshops and practical skills assessments for clients with very specific training requirements. These programmes have included technical and VET training, specialist recruitment and interview skills training, team building and skills mix evaluation training, crisis response training and management of major incidents including the H1N1 influenza and COVID-19 pandemics, coaching and mentoring for NHS workforce development and performance improvement programmes, and delivering communication workshops. As a training facilitator I most enjoy helping teams to explore and foster better understanding of themselves and their colleagues, and support an environment of open communication and safe space to engage and share ideas, thoughts and concerns openly and honestly.
