Susanne Schuler

Lead Faculty, Conflict Management Trainer

Short Introduction

I help people and organisations turn challenges into opportunities for growth. Bringing energy, curiosity, and empathy to complex situations, guiding teams and leaders to communicate clearly, build trust, and collaborate effectively across cultures. Having lived and worked across continents and speaking five languages, I thrive on connecting diverse perspectives and creating practical solutions that stick. For me, every conversation is a chance to learn, every conflict a chance to grow, and every relationship a chance to make a real difference.

About Work

I’ve spent over 25 years helping people and organisations turn conflict into opportunity. As an accredited mediator in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland, I’ve facilitated more than 150 mediations across corporate, community, and family business contexts, working in over 30 countries from Mongolia to the USA and Rwanda. I thrive on creating spaces where people feel safe to explore different perspectives, communicate openly, and leave with practical tools they can apply immediately. What excites me most about being a facilitator and coach is seeing people grow in real time — gaining confidence, finding their voice, and learning to collaborate more effectively. I’ve led workshops and coaching sessions for executives, teams, and organisations across a range of sectors, from designing a global ombuds service at Sanofi to supporting bilateral investment treaty negotiations with the IFC in Africa and the Balkans. I’ve also worked with international institutions like the UN and the Global Fund in Geneva, helping teams navigate complex challenges with empathy, clarity, and trust. Born in Namibia and fluent in five languages, I bring a global perspective to every engagement. Having lived, studied, and worked across Europe, Africa, and the Americas, I love blending intercultural insight with interactive, hands-on learning. My sessions are designed to be engaging, practical, and empowering — helping people tackle challenges with curiosity, courage, and collaboration. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every conflict holds the potential for insight, learning, and stronger, more connected relationships.
