William draws on his extensive experience as a company director in the green energy, technology and media sectors, and as an experienced corporate lawyer, to mediate complex corporate and commercial disputes.  He is a lead member of CEDR’s Mediator Training Faculty.

William trained and spent his early career as a solicitor at Allen & Overy, specialising in complex international projects, commercial contracts and international mergers and acquisitions.  He subsequently moved into industry, first as general counsel and then as COO of an AIM-listed green energy company. He continues to practice as a corporate lawyer and is a non-executive director of a number of companies.  He sits on a UK government dispute resolution working group and is a member of the City of London Law Society’s energy law committee.
