A solicitor with over 20 years' experience across private practice, government, and in-house roles, Richard leads CEDR's Commercial Disputes team through a period of significant growth in the mediation industry. He ensures both clients and mediators receive exceptional service. Outside work, Richard enjoys family time, good food and wine, and the occasional game of tennis or golf.

Anisa Butt

Anisa supports CEDR founders Dr Karl Mackie CBE and Eileen Carroll KC (Hon) in managing their mediation practices. With a background in law and modern languages and training as a mediator herself, Anisa brings insight, empathy, and deep understanding to complex, high-stakes disputes.

With a Master's in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Strathclyde University, Frank combines academic expertise with hands-on case experience. Brianne Menchion

Originally from Canada, Brianne's background spans international arbitration, commercial mediation, and negotiation teaching. A law graduate from Swansea University and former International Negotiation Competition representative, she brings cross-cultural insight, energy, and a genuine love for connecting people with the right resolution path.
