Short Introduction
Carolyn Graham is an experienced workplace mediator, conflict resolution specialist and facilitator with extensive expertise in employment, team and organisational disputes. Accredited by CEDR since 2003, she has worked full time in mediation and conflict management since 2006, helping organisations across the public, private and charitable sectors resolve complex workplace and commercial conflicts.
With more than 25 years' senior leadership experience in the arts, media and entertainment sector, including as Programming Director at London's Southbank Centre, Carolyn combines strong commercial awareness with a deep understanding of people, culture and organisational dynamics. Clients value her ability to balance pragmatism with empathy when helping parties navigate challenging disputes.
About Work
Workplace conflict and organisational relationships form the foundation of Carolyn's mediation practice. She regularly mediates disputes involving workplace grievances, discrimination, bullying and harassment, senior leadership conflict, team dysfunction, partnership disputes and organisational change.
Before becoming a full time mediator, Carolyn spent 25 years in senior management roles within the arts, media and entertainment industries, including 14 years as a Director at the Southbank Centre. Her experience includes organisational development, stakeholder management, contract negotiation, change programmes, union engagement and large scale project delivery.
Carolyn has extensive experience working with organisations across the education, healthcare, charity, government, media and commercial sectors. She is particularly recognised for her expertise in team mediation, board level disputes, workplace relationship breakdowns and conflicts where organisational culture, leadership or communication challenges are significant factors.
Clients value Carolyn's calm, insightful and intuitive approach. She quickly identifies both the commercial and emotional drivers behind disputes, helping parties rebuild dialogue, explore options constructively and develop practical agreements that support lasting resolution.
