Fiona Colquhoun

Commercial and workplace disputes sit at the heart of Fiona's mediation practice. She regularly mediates partnership and shareholder disputes, employment conflicts and workplace grievances, commercial contract disputes, clinical negligence matters and disputes involving trusts, pensions and the public sector. Her work frequently involves longstanding, highly contentious cases where commercial, organisational and interpersonal issues overlap.

Prior to developing her mediation practice, Fiona held senior corporate leadership roles including Group Human Resources Director at ICL plc and Cable & Wireless plc and Personnel Director at Mercury Communications. She has also held executive and non-executive positions within the NHS. This background gives her a strong understanding of business relationships, organisational dynamics, Board-level decision-making and the commercial realities that can influence settlement.

Fiona has extensive experience working with businesses, professional services firms, senior executives, public bodies and charities. She also undertakes a wider range of dispute resolution work including facilitation, independent investigations and reviews, neutral chairing and conflict coaching.
