Marcus mediates commercial, maritime, insurance, banking, partnership and professional negligence disputes, drawing on decades of experience as a litigation partner and adviser to clients operating across international markets.
Prior to becoming a mediator, Marcus spent more than 30 years practising as a solicitor in the City of London, representing clients in complex commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and the Americas. He also served as Managing Partner of his firm and developed extensive experience handling governance, employment, professional negligence and management issues.
His dispute resolution experience includes commodities trading disputes, marine insurance claims, shipping and cargo matters, banking disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, insolvency issues and high value contractual claims. He has particular expertise in international trade, maritime law and commercial risk management.
