Nicholas Gould is a leading construction and engineering mediator with more than 25 years of mediation experience and a reputation for resolving complex, high value and multi party disputes. A dual qualified solicitor and chartered surveyor, he specialises in construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy, property, public sector and international commercial disputes.
 
As a partner at Fenwick Elliott LLP, Chair of the CERN Adjudicators Panel and adjudicator for the ITER Fusion Project, Nicholas is recognised internationally for his expertise in construction law, dispute resolution and major infrastructure projects. He regularly mediates disputes involving delay and disruption claims, defects, professional negligence, PFI and PPP projects, energy developments and large scale engineering schemes across the UK and internationally.

Nicholas Gould specialises in mediating construction, engineering, infrastructure and property disputes, regularly assisting contractors, developers, consultants, public authorities, project sponsors and commercial organisations involved in complex and high value projects.
 
Alongside his mediation practice, Nicholas is a partner at Fenwick Elliott LLP, Visiting Professor at King's College London and a recognised international authority on construction law and alternative dispute resolution. His experience spans adjudication, arbitration, project mediation, dispute boards and early neutral evaluation, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, technical and commercial issues that drive major disputes.
 
His mediation experience includes construction and engineering claims, delay and disruption disputes, defects claims, professional negligence matters, property and planning disputes, transport and energy projects, insurance claims, PFI and PPP projects, utilities, data centres and large scale infrastructure developments.
