Nick Pearson is an internationally recognised commercial mediator and former Head of Global Dispute Resolution at Baker & McKenzie, where he led a team of more than 700 dispute lawyers across 35 jurisdictions. With over 30 years of international dispute resolution experience, he specialises in commercial contracts, cross border disputes, banking and finance, shareholder and partnership conflicts, insolvency, trusts and probate, professional negligence and corporate disputes.
 
Having practised extensively in both the UK and Hong Kong, Nick brings significant experience in complex international disputes involving multiple jurisdictions, foreign assets and multinational organisations. He is recognised for his calm, practical and commercially focused approach to resolving high value and strategically important disputes.

Before establishing his independent mediation practice, Nick spent more than 30 years advising clients on litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, including serving as Head of Global Dispute Resolution at Baker & McKenzie. His experience managing international disputes across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and offshore jurisdictions provides valuable insight into the commercial, legal and cultural issues that often underpin cross border conflicts.
 
His mediation experience includes banking and financial services disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, insolvency claims, professional negligence matters, trusts and probate disputes, fraud allegations, international joint ventures, employment issues and complex commercial contract disputes.
