About Work
In my 17 years as a mediator I have conducted mediations in all commercial areas, including contract, shareholders, directors, breach of duty /trusteeship, unfair prejudice, insolvency, insurance, professional indemnity, franchising, partnership, 'families at war' over business, wills trusts and probate, and all types of commercial and residential property.
My personal style is assertively facilitative, meaning I don't cross the line to evaluative. I am patient, calm and inclusive, which means I listen to the participants and their advisors and do my best to gradually bring them to the point where they can own the solution that works best for all the participants. I'm passionate that mediation can always provide the answer if the participants are prepared to work hard, extend themselves beyond their comfort zone and reach out to the other participants in an effort to compromise
