Lisa Drake
Lead Faculty
Short Introduction
Motivated by helping individuals and organisations shift their relationship with conflict, through training and coaching, I support people to develop the skills, mindset and confidence needed to engage with challenge in a healthier and more productive way.
I love watching capability grow, whether in a single participant or across a whole organisation, and seeing how that shift improves culture, strengthens decision-making and unlocks collaboration.
For me, building conflict capability isn’t just training, it’s laying the groundwork for long-term organisational strength.
About Work
Lisa’s career has been shaped by a long-standing passion for helping people develop the skills and confidence to handle conflict well. She draws on over 25 years of experience as a mediator, executive coach and conflict specialist, combined with a strong background in senior leadership and organisational strategy. As a lead trainer and assessor on CEDR’s flagship mediation programmes, she has guided countless individuals through transformative learning experiences.
What Lisa loves most about being a facilitator is the opportunity to help people see conflict differently, not as something to avoid, but as something they can approach with capability and calm. She enjoys watching individuals grow in confidence, and organisations discover that building conflict capability strengthens culture, relationships and performance far beyond the training room.
