Channel 4's Objectives
How Channel 4 partnered with CEDR to develop an intense and practical 4-day training programme to certify 10 employees from across the business as mediators.
The Solution
Being able to confidently engage with challenging situations and topics and dynamics in the workplace requires not only a comprehensive skill set, but also confidence to be able to use them.
This is why Channel 4 partnered with CEDR to develop an intense and practical 4-day training programme to certify 10 employees from across the business as mediators.
The 4-day programme included:
- Intense learning days focussed on core mediation skills including active listening, managing emotions and conflict styles.
- Simulated role-plays, mirroring the types of issues and cases faced within the business
- Personal coaching and feedback to embed skills and improve individual performance and confidence
