Qualifications: Graduated with an M.A. in European Law and Policy (with Merit) from the University of Portsmouth and The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 2009. Gained a Certificate of Achievement in Arbitration from the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris in 2015 and a Certificate of Competence as ADR International Full Certified Arbitrator & Master Negotiator from the ADR International Register in 2016. Graduated with an LL.M. in International Commercial Law (with Merit) from the University of Salford in 2017.

After ten years as the BBC World Service correspondent, covering war crimes trials in The Hague, Geraldine worked as the International Justice Editor at Radio Netherlands Worldwide. She then started her own company, GCC Law & Media, and began lecturing in International Business Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands in 2014. Geraldine returned to her home base in Northern Ireland in 2018, where she is now registered as a part-time lecturer in Business Administration/Law at the North West Regional College, and on the panel of part-time lecturers and assessment associates at the Academy for International Science and Research in Londonderry.
