Overview

She is an ADR Neutral specialized in dispute prevention and resolution processes, as well as an independent lawyer specialised in property, construction and investment law.  She is a negotiator and preventing conflict specialist, managing risk during investment process.

Last eighteen years she was representing individual and business clients in litigation and arbitration. She was a trailblazer to introduce mediation among Polish legal advisers, to bring awareness of distractive influence by the conflict to the families, business partners and communities and to enhance the interest of amicable dispute resolution by establishing the first Mediation Center for the Polish Bar Association and several regional mediation commissions. Katarzyna handles different negotiations, court connected mediations and arbitrations, and combined hybrid processes in a wide range of fields and industries, bringing her interest in mindfulness and stress reduction to the conversations. She is a certified mediation advocate in Poland and has written and lectured on dispute resolution, ethics, dignity and mediation advocacy for students, professionals and peers. She currently lives in Warsaw, Poland.

Professional background

Katarzyna was a member of the Social Council of ADR at the Ministry of Justice in the UK from 2016-2019. Currently, she is a member of the Consultative Council Mediation Centre at the Court of Arbitration of the Confederation of Private Employers “Lewiatan”. She has been appointed in 2013 for group of Ministry of Economy in Poland in questions of system solutions in range of amicable method of solving economic dispute, economic activities facilitating practice.
