Laurence Cobb is an experienced commercial mediator and former Head of Litigation and Head of International Construction at Taylor Wessing. With more than 30 years of experience in construction, engineering, commercial litigation and professional negligence disputes, he brings extensive legal, commercial and leadership expertise to mediation.

Laurence specialises in mediating construction and engineering disputes, commercial contract disputes, property and landlord and tenant matters, shareholder conflicts, insolvency issues and professional negligence claims. Having spent over three decades advising clients on complex domestic and international disputes, Laurence brings substantial experience of contract management, dispute avoidance and negotiation. His background includes working with developers, contractors, public authorities, professional advisers, financial institutions and international businesses.
His mediation experience covers construction defects, delay and disruption claims, property disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, insolvency related matters, financial services disputes, SEND cases and workplace disagreements. He is particularly experienced in disputes involving multiple stakeholders and ongoing commercial relationships.
