Short Introduction
I was a dispute resolution partner specialising in construction and engineering law in an international law firm in a senior management capacity as well as a regular speaker at conferences as well as chairing events. I am a commercial and SEND accredited mediator. I enjoy combining my knowledge, experience , humour, and direct manner to work with a large range of organisations and individuals.
About Work
I was a solicitor and partner in an international law firm, and during that time was Head of International Construction, Commercial Litigation, on Executive Board, and helped to run international offices. During my legal career of over 30 years I was a regular speaker and chair at law conferences on construction and engineering law and dispute resolution. I always enjoyed the Q & A sessions and chatting with an audience as I have a direct style and a dry sense of humour, so I am told. I qualified as a mediator in 2014 with CEDR, and am a member of CEDR Faculty and also an adjudicator and conciliator. I am also a SEND qualified mediator specialising in disputes in the education sector and that helps me to work with those who are neurodiverse and enjoy training and learning from everyone I meet. I am experienced both in lecturing and coaching. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, travel, watching sport, and finding water on golf courses.

Also headed committee for Academy of Experts producing guidance notes for role of Experts in Mediation
