Tat's mediation practice focuses on commercial, construction and international disputes. He regularly assists multinational corporations, financial institutions, public bodies, family businesses and private organisations in resolving disputes involving commercial contracts, shareholder and joint venture relationships, construction projects, intellectual property, employment, banking, investor-state matters, ESG issues and cross-border trade.

Alongside his mediation practice, Tat is a founding partner of Aequitas Law LLP and an internationally recognised mediator with appointments across leading institutions including the ICC, AAA-ICDR, WIPO, Singapore International Mediation Centre, Singapore Mediation Centre and the World Bank Group. He also serves as Chair of the International Mediation Institute (IMI), reflecting his standing as one of the leading figures in international mediation. His mediation experience includes several hundred institutional and ad hoc mediations involving commercial contracts, shareholder disputes, construction and engineering projects, cross-border insolvency, aviation disputes, intellectual property, insurance, employment, healthcare, ESG matters, government investment disputes, international supply chains and complex multi-party commercial conflicts. He is particularly experienced in disputes involving multiple jurisdictions, international stakeholders and culturally diverse parties.
