The CEDR Foundation Initiative on Improving Diversity in Commercial Mediation
Since 2018 the CEDR Foundation has been working on a major initiative to improve diversity and inclusion in civil and commercial mediation. We believe that it is important that commercial mediators reflect the community that they serve.
Over the last year, the Foundation has with a working group of mediators, lawyers and users of mediation looked at the barriers to diversity for gender, race and age in commercial mediation and proposed a series of recommendations. Our report setting out these recommendations can be found below.
