First 5 Teams For 2019 National Student Negotiation Competition Announced
The CEDR Foundation is pleased to announce the first 5 finalists for the National Student Negotiation Competition for England and Wales 2019.
On Saturday 23 February, 30 teams from Universities and Law Schools from London and the South East competed at CEDR’s HQ in front of a panel of judges made up of lawyers, business leaders and CEDR mediators.
The 5 teams going through to the Final from the London regional are:
The University of Brighton – James Patterson and Salman Al-Mayahi
University College London – Annabel Cheung and Sue Yin
University of Law, Moorgate – Benjamin Foster and Imogen Hughes
Royal Holloway, University of London – Charlie Brook and Oliver Snelgrove
University of Winchester – Scarlett Bradley and Chelsey Neale.
These five teams will be joined by winners from regionals taking place in Bristol, Chester and Leeds this Saturday 2 March, in the Grand Final on 30 March at Cardiff University. The National Champions will win the right to compete at the International Final in Tokyo, Japan in July 2019.
CEDR has organised and supported the National Negotiation Competition for several years. As well as organising the competition, CEDR provides free online negotiation training for all participating students and a one day masterclass in Negotiation for the 24 National Finalists.
