This service has been specially developed by CEDR Solve for disputes involving two parties where the value of the sums claimed do not exceed £125,000 and cost control of the process is essential. The Service is called Mediation 125.
When using this service the parties must agree that CEDR Solve will select the mediator having considered the nature of the dispute. All mediators appointed under Mediation 125 are CEDR Accredited, adopt all of CEDR's mediation best practice protocols and are subject to the same level of quality control that applies to our larger commercial cases.
Before applying for this service please note the following:
CEDR Solve cannot provide a mediation service unless or until all parties have agreed to participate.
The fee covers a maximum of 10 hours of the mediators time. This will be divided between pre-mediation preparation and engagement with the parties of up to 3 hours and 7 hours mediation time. Should the parties wish to have more time with the mediator an hourly rate of £200 plus VAT will apply to the extra time as appropriate.
When using this service the Parties are responsible for paying the mediation fees in advance and also for arranging and paying for room hire, refreshments and other disbursements.
