Philip recently joined the CEDR Skills team to work with us on the development of our negotiation and ‘difficult conversation’ programme. ‘Difficult’ being the operative word because Philip joins us as one of the UK’s leading Hostage and Crisis Negotiators.
His experience spans decades, with deployments in some of the tensest, most hostile, high-stake environments across all four continents. As a specialist advisor to successive UK governments and global organisations, he has gained unparalleled skills within the high-pressure world of crisis leadership, critical decision-making and life-at-risk negotiation.
Using the ‘life in your hands’ skills of the negotiator, Philip provides a unique style of coaching, mentoring and training to deliver programmes aimed at achieving the extraordinary, whether as a senior leader in roles were building high performance and effective relationships is key, delivering change, resolving conflict or for those whose negotiation skills need to be world class.
Philip is currently part of the team delivering our flagship Negotiation Skills development programmes which range from enabling leaders to have those frequently avoided but so necessary difficult conversations, through to our highly immersive, cutting-edge, Advanced Negotiation Skills course.
