Jarleth many years experience as a practising arbitrator and mediator for a number of years in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. In addition to being a dual qualified solicitor in both England and Wales and Ireland, he is a Fellow of CIArb and both a CIArb and CEDR Accredited Mediator & Arbitrator, Jarleth is also a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS, FSCSI) and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Jarleth has an extensive experience in arbitration of commercial contract disputes particularly in property and projects on employer and contractor, contractor and sub-contractor matters, employer and consultant matters, landlord and tenant, state entities, quantum and time analysis as well as disputes in relation to professional partnership in the construction, property, insurance, professional, public and oil and gas industry sectors. Construction and engineering contracts including the JCT, NEC, ICC, RIAI, Engineers Ireland and GCCC Contracts. Contract procurement experience includes tendering and contract administration.
Jarleth Heneghan has worked for CEDR for 7 years as an arbitrator conciliator and mediator on commercial and property disputes and as a CEDR-Solve ABTA Arbitration Panel Member.
Jarleth has over extensive experience in William Fry Solicitors as a solicitor specialising in dispute avoidance and resolution. As a Partner in dispute avoidance and resolution, Jarleth’s specialist practice is a variety of high profile commercial, property and project dispute resolution matters for the State, banks, financial institutions, group, domestic and international clients. Prior to that Jarleth was an associate solicitor with a City of London Law firm specialising in commercial dispute resolution matters. Jarleth is also qualified as a Chartered Arbitrator and Mediator, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a Chartered Construction Manager and has worked as a senior surveyor specialising in property expert witness, quantum and time claim management and commercial dispute avoidance work.
